just saw this on TRUtv last night. Nowhere near as interesting as Pawn Stars, unless you enjoy watching the fair citzenry of inner city Detroit make asses of themselves as an arrogant young white guy could not give a fuck less about their troubles.

whoa weird, i was totally going to make this exact thread last night but just forgot. people hate on pawn stars for becoming goofier, but i still learn something every show, whereas HP focuses more on les's asshole kids and their scummy clientele. it's funny the newest ep was talking about the importance of customer service, and yet those two are the most unprofessional people i've ever heard.

i also love how in one of the promos they take a shot at pawn stars by saying they don't bring in experts because THEY are the experts. i guess it's easy when the most interesting thing you buy is a shitty gumball machine and a prosthetic leg.

Yeah Pawn Stars > Hardcore Pawn. Twice I've seen on Hardcore Pawn where the owner or someone working there misplaced something (a necklace one time, another time I can't remember what it was) and basically ended up blaming the customer and ignoring the fact that they are the ones who screwed it up by losing the customer's shit.

PS is cool because you watch the show and actually learn interesting stuff. The people at PS are much more professional than the ones on HP. PS is also much more interesting...

This show is great. It shows a bunch of greedy slimeball jews doing their best to rip off lazy ghetto thugs and crackheads. Every now and then a redneck will show up for diversity.
