The situation is unfortuante and sad, but is it really news worthy now for an on-going 3+ weeks. Surprise Surprise women get raped during war or civil strife. This is/was happening by the 10,000's next door in Sudan. What makes this woman's story so significant?

I am guessing that the media is looking for a face to attach to this conflict in order to bias the popular support for our government's (as a part of NATO) involvement with the civil war in Libya. Personally I do not give a shit about this one woman. I am sure plenty of Iraqi bitches were raped by US servicemen during our "liberation" of Iraq.
