Anyone have a membership? I was thinking about getting one and groupon has a pretty good discount today. I'd pay the full price for the "Dual" membership simply because I think i'd get my money's worth out of it if I could take guests.
However, I don't like that the guests are limited to household members. Anyone know how strict they are about that?
My guess is that you just show your membership card and they're not checking licenses for addresses. The next level up is "Patron" - and that would allow me to bring guests that don't live with me... but it's twice as much -- it has additional benefits, but none i'm particularly interested in at the moment. 4/7/2011 12:44:44 PM |

We got the dual membership as a gift one year, and they were not very strict then (~3 yrs ago) about checking for the membership ID or household members. 4/7/2011 7:08:49 PM |

If you get the membership think about also joining the Contemporaries, it's $15 in addition and they have some awesome events year-round and it's great for networking/meeting new people. http://contemporaries.org/ 4/7/2011 7:14:59 PM |

Me and the lady went ahead and became "patrons" last year. You more than make up in it with the free tickets to stuff.
And yeah last time recall, when we went to Rockwell, I don't even think the guy was checking membership cards, just scanning tickets. 4/9/2011 8:13:21 PM |
