wtf is with the box that pops up when I try to post an image on TWW

that just mysteriously changed when I updated to 4.0

or is that a qfred change? it looks really weird

I think it has to do with firefox :-\

add that to the list of retarded changes

but it's like, pretty much a hybrid of Chrome and IE

if I'd wanted that, I would have effing downloaded Chrome and/or used IE!

this is ridiculous

major stuff has been changed around, such as the placement of the tabs and the reload button

when I try to go back several webpage, I have to hold down the button instead of having a button specifically for that

not cool, firefox

The one thing that i'm kinda pissed about is that you used to be able to type in like thewolfweb and it 'Google I'm feeling lucky' the result, now its just a standard search. Is there a way to fix that? For some websites its easy enough to just ctrl+enter but some i could just type in the acronym for it and it would come up even if the acronym wasn't in the actual main page (like the title in the drop down list when
you're entering a URL)

I hated that "feature"

I always ended up putting something like "g" right before the term (based on the Opera keyword for a Google search), so I'd get to a Google search page

because often the first result for the original search term was not in fact relevant

^I hated a shitty feature because it was shitty

Every other goddam browser (even Opera now) brings up the results page of your favorite search engine for whatever you put in the address bar if it can be determined that what's in there isn't a URL; I'd rather not have such a browser decide for me that what I really wanted was the first search result

Wait a min, Safari doesn't support searching from the address bar at all, then again it sucks.

I haven't seen memory leaks since like FF3.2 - unless you've got some crappy plugin running.

The new refresh spot is a pile of baloney. Put it back or at least give me the option. Either way the HTML5 engine is coming along nicely and it's still my go-to for a quality browsing experience without the browser whining about updates to 500 plugins.

right click on the refresh button

go down to customize

from there you can drag it over to the left

I'm surprised that Firefox isn't whining about plugin updates

and you should listen to all the bellyaching your browser gives you, because Flash, Java, and Adobe Reader are responsible for most of the exploits used on malicious websites around the world, rather than vulnerabilities in individual browsers.

ever since I realized I could customize, I've loved FF4 ever since

except for the holding down the back arrow to go back several pages

and the inability to save tabs for future browsing (at least I don't think you can do this)

does it open any faster (after booting up) than the old one did?

I never noticed really, because I'm just used to having to wait 20+ seconds for it to load
