I found some moonshine with strawberries in it in my cabinet that's probably been there for 5+ years. Safe to drink or no?

I ate some pears (or.. they looked like pears) that were about 3 years old. I puked a while later, because I was already drunk, but I don't think they were bad.

Moonshine can only lead to bad things like NASCAR and the Kennedy family.

i had some 4 year old strawberry moonshine that was fine to drink...

granted, it had been in the freezer most of that time...

however, i would not suggest eating the fruit...

ask Biofreak70 how that worked out for him

If it's good moonshine that hasn't been cut with water or anything you will be fine.

I wonder if the OP drank it? Since he hasn't posted yet maybe he did and didn't make it

I would drink it, but that's just me.
I drank some vodka that had first been opened at least 10 years prior and it worked out fine.

I ate the fruit once. My dad was drunk and he told me that eating the fruit was the best part. I believed him

I tasted it, but couldn't tell anything.

^^ I'm not concerned about the alcohol but about the fruit. I found a bottle of regular moonshine beside it and drank some with no concern.

One night my friend and I won a mason jar of moonshine in a beer pong competition. I fell backwards into a hill.

Reminds me...a couple of weeks ago I had some Maker's Mark that had to be 40 years old. Buddy found it in his grandfather's stash when he passed away.

God, it was good.

I'd still drink it. I can see the fruit breaking down to the point that it is a nuisance and should be strained out of the liquor, but it's not like it is going to grow bacteria at the bottom of the bottle.
