watched the first few the other night. tries to be a little too catchphrase'y but I thought there were a lot of funny parts

It's kind of like Trailer Park Boys with the ridiculous plots and rampant drug/alcohol use. But less redneck/white trash and more bro-tastic and stoner... and it's not documentary style

this thread being bumped inspired me to start watching this show in the office (b/c i'm surely not going to fucking work LOL).

i just wanted to say that i love the direction that cable TV is going in these days, which i guess is basically copying the it's always sunny in philadelphia mold, but the single camera, low budget, pseudo improv shows about friends in the grind, w/o fully absurd michael scott characters are so much better than the other genre of cookie cutter sitcom of comedian w/ a family and a laugh track.

so keep on keeping on cable tv, and bring me more party downs, the leagues and workaholics.

The bloodsport reference was classic...I wished they would have developed it a bit more and had him fight blind a la Frank Dux.

The tightbuthole convo with the mother and her daughter was also classic.


Still, the best moment of the season was Tyrone's cheese eggs....you fellas need to fill those stomachs up with some hot cheese and eggs.
