The people who made "Fear the Boom and Bust" last year just came out with a second one.

Making another cameo appearance is Mike Munger, Professor at Duke, and libertarian candidate for governor in '08.

Pt. 1 in case no one saw it:

What is 2 guys who know dick fuck about economics and don't have good policy advice? They are on opposite ends of the spectrum of fantasy economics that neither describes or applies to the real world.

I didn't catch the Munger cameo, but if you look closely at the very end of the video there's a cameo by Econ professor Edward Stringham that I did catch. He's the very eager reporter who runs up to the fake Keynes after they get up from the table. Other than the hook being kind of annoying, I'm a fan of these videos.

ha, just went back and watched the beginning, HQ even calls him Mike. I usually hear him on Econ Talk and I did see him speak at a tea party rally in Raleigh, guess I'm just not as familiar with Munger's face.

I know you people love anyone with that "libertarian" word beside him, but Munger is Poly Sci, not Econ. And usually most ideologically-driven academic know shit-all about the reality of what's actually possible in politics/econ.

i disagree, it was clear during the gubernatorial debates that he would have made a better governor than either of the other candidates

You've clearly never actually read Hayek.
