A buddy found this growing near his house...he said it seems to be growing on a vine. He wondered if it was a wild hop variety of some sort.

What say you tdub?

To me that looks like Poison ivy oak sumac....a very rare plant. You should take a bath in it.

Ok, my buddy says he's an expert on Virginia Creeper and it's definitely not that....

There's a ton of Virginia creeper in my yard and that doesn't look like it. Too sharp

I've got(had*) a hops vine and it doesn't look like that. Cascade hops, at least.


*Tore it up last year, and it keeps coming back.
