Bought the first one after a lot of recommendations, never finished it. It was great for a while but after a threshold amount of pointless, linear missions I lost interest. Hopefully the new one will have a little more of the oblivion-style divergence

Oblivion is a great game, but the story is crap, and I've never finished an elder scrolls game in my life.

Just finished it, great game.

It's shorter than the first, but still a good length. Just the right amount to encourage a replay IMO.
