Anyone take this course? I'm signed up for it next semester and curious to what I have to look forward to.

It's ST311 with graduate students. This by no means is a graduate level class. Enjoy your A.

i took 515, but i heard 511 is much easier.


There were about 13-16 people in my class, many more in 511 i believe.

i'm signed up for it next semester too. if its that easy i guess this doesn't matter, but can anyone comment on weems vs. McGowan? after reading these comments im really inclined to drop this in favor of something else

I had Weems this past fall. She gives you outlines of all her lectures and writes down the notes that you need to copy to your outlines. 2 tests and a cumulative final, with webassign hw. She allows 1 page of notes/formulas for each midterm and 3 total for the final.

Base Stat is continuously plugging in what is given in the problem into your formulas and solving. Also if you learn how to "explain" your answer, it should make logical sense in terms of the problem and be pretty clear if you got the right answer or not.
