Discuss.
Also name TWW users who are members of this class.

Give me any odds of how many Wolf Webbers fall into the creative class.
Let's do something large.
Let's do something like....
"There's a 1 out of 1x10^10 chance."
That means there's a one in ten billion chance of aliens existing.
Is that not rare enough for you? Okay. Let's do 1 out of 1x10^15. That's a one in one quadrillion chance.
Based on observations from the Hubble Space Telescope, there are at least 125 billion galaxies in the universe.
It is estimated that at least ten percent of all sun-like stars have a system of planets, there are 6.25×10^18 stars with planets orbiting them in the universe.
If even a billionth of these stars have planets supporting life, there are some 6.25×10^9 (billion) life-supporting planetary systems in the universe.
6,250,000,000.
Now, what are the odds that NO ONE on the Wolf Web is a member of the creative class? 6/2/2011 1:44:56 PM |

^^I wasn't catering to the small amount of engineers who aren't so difficult with the topic, I was mocking the general attitude of TWW towards the matter, which almost always comes down to the aforementioned.

what does the "class" part mean?
i agree with Quote : | "Actually many engineers can be considered as members of the creative class...." | as far as that engineers are creative
but i wouldn't put engineers in a "creative class" more like a "productive class" or "practical problem solving class"
"creative class" makes me think of pure art for the sake of art6/2/2011 8:41:09 PM |

Well no one that anyone here would actually consider as part of the creative class would actually admit to being any part of a "class" because it infers too much in the way of conformity and as we all know, you can't be artsy and conformist! 6/2/2011 9:01:20 PM |

It's important to color coordinate your darkened mood to ensure that other like-minded individuals are able to enjoy and share their identical non-comforming views. 6/2/2011 9:05:30 PM |

According to the delightfully banal corporate personality test I took when I started my job, I'm a "creative".
Are we talking about an arbitrary definition of an economic class or a more broad definition of a class of personality you can have?
