I'm curious to know what the video ripping community has done in response to the Cinavia issue, it's clear they've found a way to circumvent the technology as I've seen several DVD rips without the audio watermark, but Sony has actively lobbied Google to remove search results that contain an accurate fix, citing compliance with the DMCA.

Ran into my first issue with Cinavia last night. Are there any fixes after the fact?

More than likely, yes. Unfortunately that knowledge is largely esoteric as Sony has leaned on Google to remove several potentially helpful results from the SERPs under the digital millennium copyright act. See for yourself, search for 'cinavia fix' and jump to the 7th or 8th page to see the error message.

I've never personally applied a fix myself, but I have ran across newer movies that streamed via my PS3 without issue, so I know the knowledge is out there. When all else fails, I just stream through my Revue or 360.
