He's the last person I would've guessed would have taken a shot at country. Seems like that is the trend these days. He's actually not that bad though. I realize this is old news, but I didnt see any threads about it.

worked for Bon Jovi. Worked for Hootie and the Blowfish. Worked for Kid Rock in a sense. Can't blame the guy... nobody wants to hear him make another song like "mudshovel" or "outside"

I wonder if agents and producers are all like "Man you're old hat in what you love, people don't like your shit anymore. You're broke. You're coked out. Try country, they eat new shit up over there"

I remember Dysfunction tried to be all hardcore, then Staind/Lewis found out the ticket to the 16 year old teen angst crowd and G-105 was shitty acoustic pop like 'Outside'.

With that said, Dysfunction sucked, too....just not as much

no credit for someone that 'goes country' -

Kid Rock don't come from where I come from:
Yeah, it's true, he's a Yank, he ain't no son of Hank:
If you even thought so, god-damn, you're fucking dumb.

It's a pretty simple situation...the money was where that crap music staind put out..now the money is in putting out shitty country music.

Agreed. He's the only person I had above Busta Rhymes on that list.

Also, why the fuck did this need it's own thread?
