so my old comp has basically died and i dont have my office discs anymore and dont want to purchase it for my new comp
i've been using the google docs spreadsheet, but its pretty sparse.

Indeed, LibreOffice is the best free alternative for Microsoft Office; it's a fork of OpenOffice.org with less control by Sun Oracle and more speed and format support, including full support of the new XML-based formats introduced in Office 2007.

I recommend Office 2000, the latest version without WGA validation, combined with the Office 2010 Compatibility Pack but maybe they've cracked 2010 by now, if so that's awesome 6/15/2011 9:08:28 AM |
