If you have a lot of them to do you can use imtoo converters. Pretty sure even the free trial includes the length parameter. Drag all your files into the queue, select ~70-80 minutes (depending on your hardware) and hit go. Come back when it's all over. 6/18/2011 9:52:27 AM |

If you have a Mac, Fission will do lossless cutting. 6/18/2011 5:14:32 PM |

what's the best way to remaster an mp3? I have some live recordings that I want to clean up -- take out some background noise and adjust volume in some spots that are a little quiet 12/15/2013 8:28:38 PM |

Adobe Audition (formerly Syntrillium Cool Edit Pro) has always been a good program for me

Audition 3 is available free and legit right here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=cs2_downloads&pid=4485850
Anyway, for straight-up MP3 editing, the easiest tool is probably mp3DirectCut: http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html 12/16/2013 5:58:12 PM |
