i like the busy bee's brunch most times. they change their menu every week, so sometimes it's not as good as others. i'll probably go there in a few minutes, as a matter of fact.

Chatham Street Bakery makes awesome brunch. Weathervane is in Chapel Hill but worth the trek for their brunch.

Zydeco (beside Ed's in city market) has brunch on sundays. I don't know about saturdays, but their weekday lunch buffet is fantastic (with Ribs on thursdays).

I did brunch at nofo and was not impressed. Eggs were rubbery. I also watched the hostess spray cleaner into an open container of cream at several tables and leave them there for incoming customers

After reading about Dos Taquitos brunch, I must try it.

Any other Saturday recommendations?

Not sure how "around Raleigh" you consider these to be, but I've always found the brunch at Milltown in Carrboro to be excellent, and it's available on Saturdays. So is the one at Watts Grocery in Durham, which I've only been to once but was quite pleased.

Acme in Carrboro makes a killer brunch too but it's only available on Sundays.

BRIO has an amazing brunch menu. I'm having my bridal brunch there. I've tasted the french toast, spinach and eggs fritata, and the eggs benedict. All were delicious but the french toast was probably my favorite.

We're thinking of doing brunch tomorrow somewhere near. Any recommendations aside from Poole's, Irregardless, and Weathervane?

^ Sunday? I thought Brasa's brunch was really good. If you've never been there and don't want to spend $38+ then try their brunch http://www.brasasteakhouse.com/brunch/brunch.html

Yeah I don't really get why Brazilian steakhouses are so expensive around here. Brunch seems like a good deal though.

I just thought of two more brunch places on Saturdays. Neo-China in Cary and Dim Sum House in Morrisville for dim sum. I like both for different reasons. Just make sure you go when they're busy (11:30-1:00) so you get the best selection of items.

We did brunch at Guglhupf and dear Lord it was crowded. Their counter order system doesn't lend itself well to crowds, especially when they ask you at the register where you're going to sit and there's no open tables at the moment.
