Which type of tickets shall I choose? Do they allow to sit closer if there are empties in the front?

At State games they usually enforce the seating (in my experience at least)...no clue what they'll do in a preseason game.

Ok, I apologize. You're new and it's not your first language.

The likelihood that the stars play much in a preseason game is low, but they usually do travel with the team for workouts. I doubt they'll spend much time around the public, however. It will still be a good chance to see some of the new players and young guys get some experience.

That PNC logo really isn't terrible...I just don't like the blue and orange colors on a red/white court. Plus the orange triangle looks like the recycling symbol.

Issue is the blue block albatross as Dweedle said. You can have a non intrusive logo from a sponsor with non matching colors very easily.

I'm sure if you ordered tickets and there was a lockout, you could get a refund fairly easily. Although, that's just an assumption on my part...so I do not know for sure. If (by a stroke of luck) there is an NBA season, I'd love to go to this game.
