^ wtf? you want the child to die because his parents are stupid?
and maybe they checked if there wwas any regrowth before doing that...?
not something i would do to my child ever, but that's a different culture, and if it is verifiably harmless, what's the harm? 6/25/2011 8:57:03 AM |

what do you think the percentage would be of cobras you pet that end up biting you? 6/25/2011 10:13:48 AM |

Don't believe me? Let me send you my published research paper.
Now, they could have had the venom glands removed. And iirc, this is something people do as a good luck thing. 6/25/2011 10:16:17 AM |

The children of stupid parents often grow up to be just as stupid. I am not sure if I understand why I should care about a child I have never met surviving something like this? It isn't like the human race is in danger of going extinct. If the child were to get bitten I would still feel worse for the snake...

The snake never gapes or tongue flicks so that's probably whats up.

cobra has been disarmed, so baby is fine. cobra on the other hand might be defanged, devenomed, or have its mouth sewn shut 6/25/2011 3:10:16 PM |

You are just jealous they used a cobra and not an adder.

So you only care about humans surviving dangerous/deadly situations only if you personally know the people involved...? Nice way to look at things there.
