Baileys in Cameron Village will do it for free. They ask for donations to a charity that changes every month. It wouldn't hurt to give them a few bucks. You can get a link pin removal tool from eBay for $1 shipped, but it'll take over a month to get here from China. Not a bad thing to order and stick in your watch drawer for future use. 6/29/2011 2:43:20 PM |

They will keep your extra link and then resell it to you if you ever gain weight. Don't trust them. 6/29/2011 3:45:12 PM |

and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the pin out. 6/29/2011 3:46:08 PM |

^pretty sure those are riveted on...
Doesn't matter; Fossil has this silver dollar sized tool that slides right in there and torques the backing off so there's no need to remove it. Just need to find an authorized retailer who has the tool. 6/29/2011 5:41:35 PM |

^^ I would assume you just need a springbar tool to remove the watch from the band. Another ~$1 item from eBay if you can wait for it to come from China. Any watch shop should be able to do it for you though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TtPde-M5Xz0

I had to take a couple links out of my new watch at christmas and ended up doing it by myself at home... believe it or not, it is pretty easy. You just have to be careful not to bend and break the pins, but as long as you take your time, you won't. 3 tools: hammer, thumbtack, pliers
