Brazil's manager excluded Kaka and Ronaldinho from the Copa America squad. That decision may come back to haunt him. The team's offense has looked relatively weak and unimaginative in the first two games.

They definitely care about this, Brazil is just bad/young for their standards right now and Argentina can't find a decent manager. Mexico & Costa Rica are the only teams that "don't" care - the players themselves care, but they are basically U23 rosters.

but i gotta say i favor uruguay in a PK shoot-out, since they've got a pretty solid keeper. and goddamn, i don't think i've ever seen Messi so exhausted. he's been playing great, but i don't know if he's got enough in the tank to sink a PK. should be a good finish.

Yeah, Argentina-Uruguay was worthy of a semifinal match... no offense to Peru and Colombia!

Peru's going to have to play considerably better than they have all tournament to pull off the upset.. they only advanced because Falcao missed a penalty and the Colombia keeper really messed up in extra time.
