Yeah at this point I'm committed. I ended up re-watching the entire series again a couple of weeks ago and good god season 7 was so fucking terrible. I wanted to punch Sasha Grey every time she was on camera.

Vegas Baby, Vegas is probably my all time favorite episode.

But really, he clearly loves the gal…but maybe not as much as he loves his job? 8. Turtle and Vince break down a door, see something freaky. This could go so many ways. I’m hoping it’s some form of a dead body, but that doesn’t really mix with the show’s whole “comedy” theme. 9. According to the Hollywood Reporter, guest stars this season include Andrew Dice Clay, Mark Cuban, Illeana Douglas, Johnny Galecki, Rob Morrow, Alex Rodriguez, Christian Slater and stylist Rachel Zoe. 10. I’m sure it’s going to be funny, and heartwarming in the end. But what I hope for in the last season is that they get back to the roots of the show. First episode was pretty annoying to me, with everyone acting like a bunch of idiots around Vince.

The revelation that Sloane and Eric broke up in between seasons also comes across as really gay to me. And Turtle setting the house on fire when he can't even throw a lit roach out an open window? Predictable and stupid.

it would mess up the possibility for a movie, but I was thinking after watching the recent episode that it would surely put a huge crack in their universe if Vince died.

that episode felt like it lasted 15 minutes (and probably could have been done in 5). they set it up nicely for a movie that will probably take place a year after the finale when mrs. ari is ready for him to go back to work.

i guess maybe since they're setting up for a movie that it might be an excuse for how shitty and rushed the finale was (not that the show hasn't been crap for a long time anyway), but i thought it was really sloppy how they tied up so many personal conflicts that should've taken much more time to resolve. the fact that ari and e's situations were fixed in 20 something minutes is retarded.

but based on the number of new shows and new seasons of other HBO series that will be starting in the next few weeks/months, i think they probably just got forced into cramming everything together in 8 episodes. kind of reminds me of lost in a way.

I guess I don't understand how the actors/writers/people involved who put years into their lives with a series like this can walk off the set happy with such a garbage product at the end. I understand it is all about money and they might not give a shit, they made a ton and can all just walk away high-fiving about how they put it in cruise control the past few seasons and still got paid. But at some point doesn't your artistic pride kick in and you raise your hand while filming the last few episodes and go, "uh... hey guys, this is fucking horrible shouldn't we try to make it not fucking horrible?"
