BLUF, awards on my class b shirt are loose and wobble due to the fact the shirt is thin and doesn't support ribbons and badges well. How do I keep them tight and flush against the short sleeve shirt? Never had to wear them just on a shirt and not on a thick coat the kep them in place. Thanks 8/4/2011 7:13:49 PM |

When you cut your belt to make it brass on brass...
... Use the piece you cut off as a backing.

How many rows of ribbons will that work with? Maybe 3?

^Only ever used it for name tags. There's only so much belt to cut, without having to buy another belt for the sole purpose of racking ribbons. 8/4/2011 10:11:02 PM |

Cardboard works great. Can also get white plastic pieces sold for the purpose that aren't visible through the shirt. Probably not a problem with the green shirts. 8/4/2011 10:37:06 PM |

cardboard isn't visible through the shirt if you cut it to fit behind whatever you have pinned to your shirt. 8/4/2011 10:54:42 PM |

Yeah, I thought that was a universally known trick. Better yet, don't wear awards with Class B shirts. 8/5/2011 6:47:03 PM |
