as of late - there has been an increase of troll posting in the lounge threads.

people actually contributing to a thread are of course welcome, but recently a few individuals have decided that they would like to come in and crap on multiple threads in there.

it's really quite frustrating when you're attempting to have productive conversations. recently the cycling thread comes to mind, and the beach body thread has gotten off point recently as well.

any assistance would be appreciated

Glad LunaK pointed it out in the cycling thread- some dude's instigating and I know we shouldn't feed the trolls, but it's already hard enough to have coherent Interweb conversation about bicycles. I actually came over here to mention the troll situation too.

Let's see, so someone who is also a member of the cycling community espouses views that are contrary to the insular groupthink "us vs. them" mentality that pervades the spandex-wearers, so that person is a troll. Got it.

I also asked a serious maintenance question and never got a straight answer. Not much of a thread if you ask me.

As for the Lounge being somehow "different", that's bullshit. Conversation is conversation. It's not even a serious subject, like death or illness, it's a thread about bicycles for crying out loud.

The cycling thread should be moved to Entertainment.
