ps the weed you get from the guy down the street will be just as good as the store stuff and likely cheaper. though i guess not "legal"
8/9/2011 11:38:43 PM
That's what make the east coast so good. You can only buy limited things

your username would imply otherwise.

Father lives in CA. Mother dragged me to AK. Spent 8 years up north, but my dads always been in HB.
8/10/2011 12:32:06 AM
I'll be damned. This motherfucker done jammed on me.
8/10/2011 1:05:21 AM
Been living in CA for the past 7 years and I can safely say I would never, ever, ever want to move back to NC. NEVER[Edited on August 10, 2011 at 3:19 AM. Reason : BAY AREA 4 LYFE!!1one]

Until it the west coast sinks into the ocean.

I lived in Walnut Creek and worked in the Financial District for 3.5 years... And gladly moved back here. That's not to say it wasn't amazing to experience living in that area though...
8/10/2011 9:02:15 AM
You're ruining my dreams of leaving the state and never coming back

So Cal Baby... but no this was my 1st thought when i saw you can just buy liquor at the grocery store and they don't have ABC stores
8/10/2011 1:14:40 PM
SoCal will always have a special place in my heart. Especially San Diego. But NorCal is hella nicer
8/10/2011 1:15:34 PM
No Nor Cal is awesome too minus the sunny weather I love San Fran, love Yosemite.
8/10/2011 1:17:08 PM
It's plenty sunny in the East Bay. Honestly, I think the weather is nicer in Oakland than San Diego minus maybe one or two months out of the year

Golden State 4 Life.We talk about moving out there all the time. My wife's sister is in the Valley and I have family in Sacramento. Money's not a problem, since we don't give a shit about having a condo or a big house or expensive alcohol or country club membership or anything like that. Hell, we already live in one of the top 10 most expensive cities in America. Depending on what city we lived in, we might actually save money. I tried to convince my wife to take a transfer to San Jose, but then I got this job in DC, so we'll just wait until I get sick of it here and try again later. You have to designate between regions, though. NorCal can be great or really annoyingly hippified. The Valley can be quaint or a hellhole. LA can be fun or the most stressful place on earth. [Edited on August 10, 2011 at 1:23 PM. Reason : x]

No worries you regulate up there and i'll regulate down here CA represent.
8/10/2011 1:20:05 PM
The economy and job market are pretty shitty right now, but it'll bounce back at some point. The food, weather, and scenery will never get old though
8/10/2011 1:22:44 PM
8/10/2011 1:22:56 PM
All that fancy dispensary stuff is nice, but honestly the best is the hillbilly humboldt county homegrown stuff.
8/10/2011 1:24:36 PM
My aunt and uncle used to live near Modesto (east of Oakland, San Jose). Said the state was a shit hole and couldn't be happier to get out of there.
8/10/2011 1:27:57 PM
No offense but there isn't a lot in Modesto period...so prob not a big change.
8/10/2011 1:34:31 PM
I can't decide which sucks worse: Stockton, Modesto, or Bakersfield? They are all such horribly depressing places California is a huge state though. Generally the closer you are to the coast or sierras the nicer it is
8/10/2011 1:36:00 PM
add Visalia to that list. They all remind me more of NC but more dusty. Just lots of spread out land and farming and ag...

The last time I checked, the rest of the nation isn't doing too well either. It's sunny and 65 degrees, so think I'll go for a run around Lake Merritt and try not to cry myself to sleep tonight

8/10/2011 1:49:21 PM
^^CA is leading the way to ruin, if you think otherwise you've got your head in the sand.
8/10/2011 1:50:40 PM
It'll be alrightNow go back to watching FOX News while I sit here and hold my breath waiting for the next big earthquake to hit
8/10/2011 1:52:44 PM
^^ Apparently Sarcasm hasn't hit the East Coast yet.
