Worth it to buy one and strap it permanently to back of a head rest for the kids. No more fighting over the 2 iPads we have

$99 is definitely a steal ... plus ... it DOES run flash, so thats something that I might see myself using for streaming tv shows on megavideo.com without having to download them.

Any hacked versions out there yet?

Got it now. Got the 32GB model for 144.10 after tax. Used a 25 dollar gift card I had for going to a presentation. So grand total is 119.10. Nice Well it's still being processed, god I hope this works....

I bought 2 16GB as well through HP EPP for 181.

One will go to mom for her to do email/skype/www and one will stay with me for playing around on. Obviously not a replacement for my ipad2, but I am curious to see what the dev community is able to do to this thing.

Went to Wal-Mart in Apex, bought the last 32GB one (they only had 2 in general). I had 75 dollars in AMEX gift cards. So grand total after tax for 32GB was 84 dollar bucks!

Yeah, I had to wait around at Wal-Mart this morning for them to update the price. The guy was skeptical about it, saying we just dropped the price to 399 and 499 the other day. I said, I'll just hang around in case something comes out as this was supposed to be a system wide HP sales thing. 2 minutes later he went to check his email and his gun got the updated price of 150 and I bought it. When he scanned it before the email came out (around 8am) it originally came up as 499. It's pretty fun so far, but a lot of apps seem to run emulator style with a Pre in the center of the screen.
