an update to the original CS set for release early 2012 as downloadable game for PC, XBox, PS3.

a few minor updates, a face lift to the visuals, but relatively unchanged from the original.


I loved counterstike and how much more team oriented it felt than the newer generations of FPS out there. Not sure what the price will be for this, but I'll probably pick it up for PS3 for nostalgia. Hell, it may end up being pretty damn awesome.

It's still the same fucking game, a little prettier but honestly if you have time to enjoy the scenery in a FPS you're doing it wrong

The only thing that interests me is the cross-platform play, maybe we can finally end the argument

as long as gabe newell doesn't fuck this game up, I might go back into e-sports. god, I used to play this game 6-8 hours a day for my "sponsor." wonder if all the old pros who left for wow will come back.

Not digging the looks of some of the weapons, the new crosshair, the molotov, or the matchmaking. However, if it is F2P like some are speculating, I am fucking pumped if it brings the CS competitive scene back. If it isn't, splitting the already divided playerbase further is bad news bears.

I'll admit, CS sucked a good 6 years out of my life. I had a blast playing it, though.

I also remember recognizing scrager from CS. Also played on JustinHoMi's server for forever!
