Strange sort of problem I'm having with my car as of a few days ago, but every time I start the vehicle, the cruise control is on, regardless of whether it was on or off on shutdown. Seems like a relatively harmless problem, but I'd like to know what's causing it, as I'm concerned there may be a deeper issue at hand with the electronics that's leading to this, and I'd like to correct it if I can.

Vehicle is a 2000 Mitsubishi Diamante with 155,xxx miles on it. Thanks!

As long as the vehicle isn't trying to move itself it's nothing to worry about
