Can't you just like.....get a white State t-shirt and use one of those tie-dye kits to make it so? What's wrong with that?
Boil water + dye, dip shirt, let it with gumband sections, dry. That's how we did it back in the day.

And, to keep in school spirit, just do some red and black tie dye. You'll have a nice unique shirt.
