Hey all, one of my wife's co-workers wanted us to pass this along to see if someone can find a home for this dog:

Quote :
"Hi to all!! Pat and I found two dogs this past Saturday on Hwy 49. One was severly injured and the other would not leave his side. After standing on the road for 2 1/2 hours animal control came to get the injured hound and the sweet and very healthy 2 year old walker hound. The injured hound had to be put down because of injuries but not the Walker Hound. After some searching I found the owner who has decided to not claim his pet. There is no room at the Person County Animal Shelter so "Walker" will be euthinized after Saturday, October 1st. I spent 2 1/2 hours with him and he was wonderful! With Madden on the way in a couple of weeks we just can't take another pet until we introduce Jaxson to him or I would scoop him up in a heartbeat. Do/can you or anyone you know want a dog for a short time as a foster or a forever home? I'm willing to help with getting him out of the shelter or anything else I can do! All the information is below. Please forward this around to everyone you can think of. You never know who may be able to foster or adopt! "Walker" is in good health, no more than 2 years old and seems to love everybody and other animals; Brown and white with black spots. Just what you think a hound would look like!! Contact Kay at Person County Animal Control and Shelter, 2103 Chub Lake Road, Roxboro, NC 27574 336-597-1741 Kay works 11-7 on Friday and 11-2pm on Saturday."
