I was low on Transmission Fluid about 6 months ago when I brought it in to Griffin Transmission. They were unable to find the leak but refilled it. It took them 4 weeks to do this.
I'm not noticing any of the symptoms that I had last time; but, if I were to have this done again, where should I take it? I can't go without a car for 4 weeks, again. 10/3/2011 10:18:03 AM |

^ i'm betting it's checked by sensor, so no dipstick is required (in theory). 10/3/2011 11:20:34 AM |

when was the last time the filter was changed? as far as filling, it's pretty easy to do yourself, easy enough that the dealer shouldnt rape you if you took it there. also, taking it to the dealer would guarantee you getting the proper fluid 10/3/2011 11:55:10 AM |

Ahahaha. My guess is $300 for a transmission drain and fill.10/3/2011 12:05:20 PM |

considering they charge $160 for an oil change, I'd imagine a tranny drain and fill would be more. not to mention he might need some troubleshooting if the condition pops up again.]10/3/2011 12:47:10 PM |
