My thoughts:

Loki as the villain again? Lame. Do we know if there are others?

This is going to be Iron Man 3. It's going to take some terrible writing not to let Robert Downey Jr. steal this one. I mean hell, the trailer was essentially Iron Man 3.

I don't think Loki is the only villain in it. He may be more of a henchman or a more powerful villain or something along those lines. They probably just put him in there because he's recognizable to those who saw Thor. I would have liked to have gotten a glimpse of the helicarrier but it might be hard to portray it without it looking cheesy.

I dug the early rumor that Hulk would be the main antagonist and it was reigning him in that brought the rest of the Avengers together

^ That was the origin story of the Avengers in the comics.

I cannot, for the life of me, see Loki as the main antagonist. He's a trickster, he stays in the background and urges other people on to do his bidding with deceit.

I.. am actually fearful for this movie after this trailer. I am so looking forward to this movie, but god, I hope it doesn't suck.

He can't be the only villain. If Thor was strong enough to take him down himself I don't see why they would need a whole team of super heroes to take him down a second time.

As you might have noticed at the end of Thor (and based on the entire movie of Cap America), Loki probably has access to a Cosmic Cube, which would easily make him more powerful than Thor.

Loki is a trickster and he's good at it. but when he's got the power he thinks he needs to take over directly he will use it when it suits his interests.

Yes, there are definitely other villains. The trailer did a surprisingly good job of not spoiling them. Of course, given who they are in the Marvel universe and what they can do, you may have "seen them" and not even known it.

Cryptic enough for those who don't want to be spoiled, but pretty obvious for longtime fans of Marvel.

I am definitely looking fwd to this movie. I detest that they got rid of Ed Norton, and I don't care what excuse they give, it will upset me. But oh well, I will still see this multiple times.

I am not a huge follower of the comics but I too hope and believe there has to be some other villains in the movie.

This just caught my attention... it contains a possible huge spoiler as to a cameo appearance, so i won't post the text, but IMDB has confirmed Jenny Agutter (American Werewolf in London, Logan's Run) is part of the cast.

New trailer looks awesome. io9 has a good gallery with comments on each scene. I still don't like Caps suit. I wish they would have used a darker blue/color scheme so his suit would look more practical/tactical. Ruffalo as Hulk looks pretty sweet. RDJ is going to steal the show, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Mr. Tony Stark.

The biggest let down of this movie is going to be all the heroes they have to leave out due to different film companies owning the rights. Fantastic Four, Dr. Doom, all X-Men, Spiderman, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, etc

About the "army" Loki has:
Whedon already confirmed earlier in the year that it is not the Skrulls. In the screenshots from the aforementioned gallery they seem to think that the new army is the sons of Muspell (http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/02/05/lokis-army-revealed-avengers-superbowl-trailer-know-who-they-ish/)

I have herd rumors that the story will follow The Ultimates story line. If this is true then Whedon could just be screwing with us by say that there are no Skrulls because in this story line they are called the Chitauri.

For those that think that Loki can't be the only villain, if you look back at the comic origin of the Avengers, it's true they were formed to stop the Hulk, but it was Loki who tricked Hulk to going off in the first place. Not to mention that from the end of Thor, it looks like he has the cosmic cube.

My thoughts of what will happen:

Loki tricks Hulk into going off.
Avengers stop him (apparently there is an awesome fight scene between Hulk and Thor)
Loki lets loose his army.
Avengers get their asses kicked.
Convince Hulk to help.
Hulk Smash
...

^by the Tony Stark "we have a hulk" line near the end I have a feeling the Loki turning Hulk events will take place towards the middle to later portion of the film, if at all.

^ My logic for the beginning would be that Loki originally wanted Hulk to lead his army, so he tricks him to thinking that the Avengers are the bad guys. Then the Avengers show Hulk he was tricked so Hulk's pissed at Loki now. Stark's comment kinda sounded like, "Haha, we got Hulk and you don't, did we mention that he's pissed off at you." Cue a little stream of piss running down Loki's leg.

Regardless of what happens in the movie, I'm just glad someone like Whedon is directing. Instead of being your usual mindless blockbuster with more explosions than dialogue (*cough, cough* Michael Bay *cough*)we may actually get a quality story with a lot of explosions.
