Just saw this on one of those Encore channels, shit was disturbing as hell lol

It's about these 3 people that get stuck on a ski lift (not sure how, turned it on late) but the resort would be closed for 5 days after that night

That sounds pretty dumb, as the ski resorts have several safeties in place to prevent something like that from happening.

Yes, because movies = real life.

Anyway, it was a fantastic movie. Very thrilling and emotional from start to finish.

^^look, if it's a shitty premise from the start who cares about the movie/real life part. Shitty is shitty.

It was a pretty suspenseful film for what it was. The whole time I was thinking though... why not just take your clothes off, tie them together, and lower yourself down? You wouldn't be able to get all the way down but with all that snow slowing your fall you could probably get low enough to where you would be able to land without doing too much damage to your legs.

I read through some IMDB comments and apparently they cant afford a ski lift ticket so they bribe some guy $100 to let them on, and then the lift operator tells some other guy some instruction about not shutting down the lift, but he misunderstands/fucks it up and closes the lift

the plot thereafter was pretty realistic, they don't go hollywood with it

Actually, this does happen, just not as long...

I have had many discussions about freezing to death versus burning to death. I always said freezing would be worse because it takes so long and the mental aspect would be dreadful. I'm sure the actual burning hurts worse but it would be over fairly quick in comparison.

is this the one where the guy jumps off the lift and breaks his leg and then promptly gets eaten by wolves?

I didn't wanna reveal anything, but yeah one guy jumps, both his legs snap in half w/ bones sticking out

then a little while later wolves come and eat him alive lol

a lot of people say the wolves aren't that aggressive around people, which I can't speak to, but that the blood attracted them and they obviously saw him as a food source

it's a short movie, 80some minutes like Phone Booth

I don't know why Iceman didn't just build an ice pyramid or something for them to slide down on though
