Ok, I'm wagering money that it's a host country national. There is a kid who is pushing that goat into the center while the non-military guy hits the goat.

Should the soldiers been watching and laughing during the time...probably not. However, that goat would have have died by the same means had the soldiers not been there.

All current servicemen joined with a clear purpose: to kill people in the middle east. There is no draft. They knew exactly what they were signing up for.

If they wanted to protect people in the middle east they should have become private guards. If they wanted to protect Americans they should have become civilian police. No, they wanted to kick towelhead ass. And that's fine...really it's the only intellectually honest reason to join our military. But I won't hold it against antiwar protesters for condemning the participation of all soldiers.

They had this guy who won several games a few months back, and then just recently was in the tournament of champions. Hated that motherfucker. Looked and talked like the biggest dweeb in human history. Everything he said made me want to gouge my eyes out. Turned out, sure enough, he's a goddamn urologist. Dude shoves fingers up other dudes' buttholes for a living. In the tournament, he said he'd joined the Army Reserves to ply his trade there.

I've not a doubt in my mind that this man intends to leave the urology tent (and what an exciting place that must be) as soon as he lands in Afghanistan so that he can go frag some hajjis.

Whatever rationalization of your supporting role in a death machine helps you sleep at night. Her dental education is a modern day spoil of war; riches plundered not from the enemy but her own fellow citizens. No one ever said being a mercenary didn't pay well.
