I doubt anyone is going to die. Get badly beaten, harassed and mass arrested by police using questionable tactics and legal justification, but the United States policing practices are good enough to prevent giving the protestors martyrs to rally around.

First, the President Himself can't get the Olympics, after Personally appealing to the committee.

Then, they elect Raum Emmanuel as mayor.

Then, the G8 decides it's too dangerous there, so the Man Himself moves it to Camp David, where it is now off-limits to the public.

This is about six month before the 2012 Presidential Election.
