I think one of those "locks" not to make it could be UVA. They've done nothing much of late and their resume isn't great and they are plagued with injuries. No momentum at all.

I would much prefer to be an 11 and match up with a mid major than go 12 or 13 and match up against someone from Big East, Big 10, Big 12 or even SEC.

^ I tend to disagree with that statement because typically mid majors get screwed on their seeding.

A mid major that deserves a 4 seed will be given a 7 seed while teams like duke that should be a 4 seed will get a 2 seed.

finished today suggests to me they've been working on it all week, already had preconceptions formed before the whole body of work, etc

we've seen this play out before where they've just completely ignored games on sunday, ie a low seed wins their major conference tournament and doesn't move up a couple seed lines because the committee is a bunch of lazy old white men who have afternoon tee times they need to make

According the twitter, Jerry Palm has us as the final team making the tournament right now. But then I see other reports of him having us as an 11 seed playing vs Marquette

He has had us solidly in the field since the Virginia win, so I'm not sure why we would be so close to the edge all of a sudden. Shit like this makes me nervous
