I always like to compare South Park episodes to SNL, since the production schedule is similar. Sure, it's mediocre sometimes, but it makes it all the more impressive when they turn out a brilliant episode of television in four days.

I thought it was pretty funny...but not as funny as my mom apparently thought it was. Today at the dinner table she asked, "Did any of you see South Park last night? Funniest thing I've seen in years. Especially the 'I gots to check your ass-hole' part."

I think there is a fine line here. They got their point across very well without including those shows. I think if they would have included Storage Wars, Hard Core Pawn, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, etc. the overall message would have been diluted with stupid one liners about stupid shows. They already took their jab at the History Channel with the Thanksgiving episode.

I did like how they made fun of the republican political debates and how it is just stupid talk that can be hard to understand sometimes. They should have focused more on that.
