I'm taking the riding course at wake tech.

I need to get some cheap riding gear for the course.

Helmet and gloves.

Let me know what you have.

There was a sale at Cycle Gear the other day. Helmets as low as $40. (50% off). I use $15-$20 Mechanix gloves. There are different styles, but they are awesome and can be found at your local Advanced Auto.

mechanix gloves are fine for the class but are not appropriate for riding outside a parking lot. cyclegear has "bilt" brand gauntlets for ~$20 in the clearance bin
