Quote : | "The men in the Republican Party may not think they’re fighting a “war on women,” but its female senators certainly do. Yesterday, Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) joined Sens. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) and Kay Bailey Hutchison in criticizing the GOP’s push for legislation to restrict access to contraception and other basic health care services: “It makes no sense to make this attack on women,” she said at a local Chamber of Commerce luncheon. “If you don’t feel this is an attack, you need to go home and talk to your wife and your daughters.” Murkowski — who recently said she regretted her vote for the anti-woman Blunt amendment — promised to fight for Planned Parenthood funding and also spoke out against Rush Limbaugh’s attack of Sandra Fluke, adding, “To have those kind of slurs against a woman … you had candidates who want to be our president not say, ‘That’s wrong. That’s offensive.’ They did not condemn the rhetoric.”" |

This is why the GOP is going to lose in 2012. You can't piss off 52% of the voters and expect to win.5/6/2012 1:26:38 AM |

A substantial number of women actually agree with the notion of restricting access to contraception; I'd imagine the actual percentage of the electorate getting pissed off is 40%. (Also, the female portion of the population actually is something that barely rounds up to 51% FYI.) 5/6/2012 2:02:12 AM |

^Women participate at a higher rate in elections. They're probably close to 55% of voters. 5/6/2012 2:22:04 AM |

Whoa, whoa, whoa, you guys are missing the point.
The question is: Who's better-looking?
Barack Obama or Mitt Romney?
This could be toughest decision yet for women everywhere. 5/6/2012 11:31:07 AM |

Thank fucking God. It's about time someone in the GOP spoke up with some common sense and decency. They can't all be as retarded as the policies they propose. 5/6/2012 1:27:53 PM |
