Do you have ads when you browse?

Most of that stems from the ads.

Although you may have AIDS

it doesn't have anything to do with ads fyi. if people post an image that is hosted on a domain that later gets flagged by google, that big scary error is what we get. it's just an embedded image so there's not really any danger, but i do tend to edit images out when that happens

How do you explain why I never get these error messages?

i dunno. either you're not using chrome, you have the phishing and malware protection feature disabled, or perhaps adblock either also has the particular domain in its block list or perhaps is overriding chrome's phishing detection in general.

ABP actually does prevent content from loading that triggers a blocking rule, and despite its name, it affects all content, not just ads, so it is entirely possible that it's blocking images from sketchy servers, so when Chrome checks all those HTTP requests to see whether they match the SafeBrowsing database, the blocked images aren't counted.
