Police not being given the benefit of the doubt in court based simply on being police. Also, being held accountable for lying to get around the law.

Judge basically then says, how can I believe you over this citizen, you've already admitted that you're willing to lie to work around the law?

Now the police chief is mad that his officers, who admitted that they lied to gain entrance to the home, were called liars and deemed less credible than the home's resident who says she did not consent to a search.

Shocking that admitting that you're prepared to lie to further your own investigation can damage your credibility.
