At first glance I'd say Navy and Dreamworks look like the teams to beat. DTLR has Felton/Green/Jamison but i dont know anything about the NCCU guys...

751 South looks awful but it'll be cool for our guys to play together. I hope they bust up Amile and his Douche U comrades.

and holy crap a Galen Young sighting!

"Current Wolfpack standout C.J. Leslie will play for the Banks Law Firm in what could be the most bizarre assemblage of talent in the tournament. Leslie will be joined by North Carolina’s Reggie Bullock, Tar Heels recruits J.P. Tokoto and Joel James, Duke’s Quinn Cook and Marshall Plumlee and Ben Hansbrough, the younger brother of UNC great Tyler Hansbrough and a former Notre Dame standout."

why do ppl do this? isn't the risk/reward for an injury terrible in this league?

They play pickup games almost every day during the summer. That's really all this league is, so no. Of course injuries will happen once in a while.

This is a sanctioned tournament, BigHit. Not streetball with 2pac and Marlon Wayans.

Torian Graham was just sitting by CJ Leslie...

Rodney Purvis is a man-child...

Tyler Lewis looks a little timid early, probably because Nolan Smith almost dunked on him...

Tracy Smith has lost A LOT of weight...

TJ Warren is a no-show...

Lorenzo Brown seems to be walking around fine on that knee...

^^the purvis appreciation thread should be bumped, he's good again! (thanks for the update!)

751 South?
A proposed durham subdivision/ mixed-use mini-city (that's attracting all kinds of political attention) was allowed to buy a team-name? that's kinda weird.

The best part was that he was being guarded by Nolan Smith (who also dominated for his team), who was all over him and he still got the ball in the hoop. Attacked the rim with relative ease and had to have hit at least 4 or 5 threes. And that's with he and Tyler Lewis getting to the game late and missing almost the whole first period.

I'm disappointed that Packinsider doesn't have an article up on the game last night. They are slipping.

Read this thread title as RC Pro-Am. Expected it to be about classic Nintendo racing games. (Forgot what section I was in for a minute)

Thread does not deliver.

Man, loved the Purvis-to-Tracy-Smith dish. Would've loved to see Tracy play in Gottfried's system
