Showgirls - Believe it or not, too many boobs. It all seemed so pointless.

Beloved - I was already hating it, and when Oprah popped a squat and started pissing in the dirt that was the final straw.

I almost walked out on The Black Dahlia. The sad thing was that I was in Blue Ridge.
I would have walked out of Flight Plan, but my date had fallen asleep and didn't want to get up.

None. Never even thought about it, and frankly I'll never comprehend the thought process of someone that does it. (And I've seen my share of complete shit)

You know what, I would have walked out of 21 Jump Street if I had plans to go a party or something afterwards. So I take it back.

I sat through Case 39 solely because I had to see if it could get any worse. Probably the shittiest movie I've seen in a theater.

Biggest mass exodus I've witnessed is 5 old ladies walking out together during the I Love You Philip Morris matinee at the Galaxy. They couldn't handle a butt fucking Jim Carey. I was laughing my ass off, De Niro/Problem Child style.

Freddy Got Fingered.

It was too bad to waste any more time watching.

never done it, and i don't recall ever seeing anyone else leave for reasons other than taking a leak or getting a snack

but i only see summer blockbusters, if a movie is questionable, i'll wait to watch it on tv/netflix/dvd etc

^that movie was hilarious

i never have, but have considered it strongly.

recently, id have walked out of Snow White and the Huntsman. it was boring as hell, despite having cool effects.

In the past:
Mr Wrong
Kung Pao

Had I seen it in theaters:
In the Midnight Garden of Good and Evil

A big campus crusade group walked out of Witherspoon when I was working there for Mulholland Drive. Never walked out of a movie myself.

The only movie i've ever walked out on was Jurassic Park.

yep, you read me right. It wasn't my choice, I went to see it with a teammate of mine when I was playing hockey. I think we were in either Knoxville, TN or Huntsville, AL and his parents yanked us out shortly after the dude got ate on the crapper.

ended up going to see it again when i came back home.

I wanted desperately to walk out on Battlefield Earth... but I was chaperoning a group of high school students who actually chose to go see it. They all regretted it, too.

I almost walked out of Moulin Rouge in the first ten minutes. Shit is cut at a nauseating pace, even for Luhrmann.

The only time I've seen someone walk out was during Dancer in the Dark. An older couple left when Bjork was beating David Morse to death. Don't know what their problem was; he got up and danced with her a minute later.

When they re-released the Exorcist in theatres, and ole Regan comes spiderwalking down the ceiling, the patriarch of a mexican family of 7 got up, started waving his arms like an umpire calling someone safe, and shouted in spanish as he exited the theater.

It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.

Sorry, couldn't get passed the "We Will Rock You" scene at the jousting tourney. I'm sure it would be worth a rewatch though.

^ it was bad IMO, I rented it a few months ago... watched 45 minutes before I stopped watching it. Not that funny, but I do have short spans of attention.

^this! I never have walked out of a movie, but I have stopped watching ones on Netflix or ones I have rented, like being the 4th Fast & Furious movie, house of the dead, grown ups, etc.

strongly considered it on Chronicles of Narnia, then got amused by how terrible it was

a movie would have to be ungodly bad before I'd walk on it, and I haven't seen one in theaters like that yet

Erm...not everyone pays $9-$15 for a movie, sometimes it's free. Plus we're talking over the last 20-30 years, and during the majority of that time time movies didn't cost anything close to $9-$15.

I don't think I have ever walked out no matter how painful.

I was very tempted to walk out on Kung Pow (it was god awful even at 15), but a friend convinced me to stay.

sunk costs. almost everyone's time is worth more than $5/hour anyway.

Reaaaallllllly fucking awkward. Should have walked out, powered through it. To this day he still talks ab how awkward it was & can't believe he took me to see that. I tell him to STFU & stop bringing it up
