Is this a serious question? I put Rain-X WeatherBeaters on my S2000 and they have held up well, been on for around 18 months now.

You're not driving fast enough if you need windshield wipers.

he's being facetious probably because gayragers hound people for not posting enough data.

Just be sure to get wipers that mount on 'top' of the frame, and not 'to the side'. My dad got some that mounted 'to the side' and they twisted at the location where they attached to the wiper arm, causing the plastic frame to rub against the windshield.

I have the one piece Rain-x wipers. They are pretty damn terrible.

Bosch is my go to brand.

Made the mistake of buying Trico wipers a few months ago for the 4Runner because they were half price. They have sucked from day 1. Should have returned them the first time it rained, but the packaging and receipt were long gone. They clear the rain fine on the up swing, but they smear it on the down swing. My roommate bought the exact same pair and has the same issue.

Tricos were great 15 years ago, but the ones I got recently were pure junk.

I get the Valucraft cheap ass ones from Bonerzone or the generic cheap ass versions of Trico. And Rain-X my windshield. Fuck all this wasted money on wiper blades. I change them every 2 years whether they need it or not, and if they get kinda oxidized, I give 'em a wipe with some isopropyl.

There's no sense in paying 50 bux for a set of wiper blades unless you own a Bimmer or Mercedes and have no fucking choice. Fuck all that noise.

fwiw, be careful with rockauto pricing - I dove in head first and bought all of my replacement parts from them for about a year (probably $1k or more)... only to realize that a handful of parts were the same price, if not more than advance and the like.... plus I had to pay shipping (which negated not having to pay sales tax at that point in time). Now I go to the local parts stores' websites first and then double check RA, because trying to arrange my options to get the best combined shipping became an exercise in futility

I have better luck with Advance Auto, because I am almost always spending $100 and there are always codes online that will get you at least 20% off. Even if I have to run to the store for a set of plugs and a jug of brake fluid I will order online and get the discount. This works out better than even using my commercial account.

thanks guys. is there anyway to tell the drag coefficient rating on these wiper blades? this is the biggest concern for me.
