Saw it on Amazon Prime last night.

I only wish reporters nowadays would work like Woodstein did at their jobs. Think of everything that could be really investigated if people cared enough to dig, and cared enough to cover facts instead of conjecture:

The Fed.
The War in Iraq.
The Military Industrial Complex price-gouging.
Barak Obama's past.
Mitt Rmoney's past.
Congress (both houses).

We do care, we just don't have access.

So which do you think is the cause?

1. Reporters have gotten lazy
2. People don't care
3. The information is too well hidden
4. There's a conspiracy to keep the american people in the dark

I just think there's nothing that interesting or bad out there.

Definitely a conspiracy to keep americans in the dark. Think about it, social media serves to make people feel more important than the really are, like they are a celeb, which goes to provide them a false sense of their reality.

It's a simple matter of not being able to convert that information into profits. There are no serious investigative reporters anymore, because there's no money in it. Today's journalism is much less about exposing corruption than it is about finding something trivial but controversial. The closest thing we have is Anderson Cooper. Plus, whistleblowers are severely punished so that doesn't help.

I think the media is too biased to dig up anything on the current admin.

That and there is no piece of information damning enough to bring this administration or romney down. Everything can be spun to make it look like an exception of the law.

For instance, Romney accepting donations from Israel. That in itself should get him kicked out of the run for president, but has it? Nope. Not even close.

the media is owned by the same companies that pick the top two presidential candidates each year.

^ I think it is a relationship of one hand washing the other, patting each others backs, etc.

And considering that all (and I mean ALL) of the big banks give just about the same amount of money to both Obama and RMoney, anyone who thinks RMoney is going to change anything is really very naive and just doesn't like Obama.

Now, I really don't like Obama, and I dislike RMoney.

I just dislike Obama more because he is the guy in power, taking away our rights (the rights that I lay my life on the line for each day to defend).

This was the default "let's put a movie on while we do hw" movie for me and my roommates in college. I've probably seen it 50 times.

Did you mean "how some rights mean more than other"?

What rights?

You name them, and I'll think about them and give my opinion.
