Anyone catch the premiere episode of Copper this weekend? I enjoyed "Gangs of New York" and look forward to the show exploring the post-draft riot time in NYC. First episode wasn't great, wasn't bad, was still enough to keep me watching next week.

I thought it was good enough to watch a few more episodes. Shows like this don't really establish themselves until they've got some groundwork laid down. I'll give it a chance.

Ok, I actually enjoyed the premiere more than I thought i would. It's going to have some growing pains but I'll buy in for a few more weeks.

^The black seamstress murdered him. The girl was being creepy toward Corky because she is having trouble adjusting to non-whoring life, and her only inkling of how to deal with men is to make sexual advances.

It's a good show, the acting isn't great but it's serviceable. The transitions between scenes can be weird at times, but overall it's enjoyable. At least, I keep purchasing it for < $2 an episode on Amazon Video
