It's definitely been taken up a level in terms of shock value. The scene with Tig's daughter being burned was gut wrenching as was watching the jail beating last night (name left out to prevent spoilers.)

Agreed. 1/3 of the way in I figured out that this was just an episode to bridge the gap between what happened last week and what will happen next week. Almost all shows do it from time to time.

ha ha...yeah.
You'd think criminals would pick vehicles that are actually conducive to getting away in a chase.
Instead it was a couple of Harleys being followed by a ragged out Impala. Shaky camera work to make it look like they were going faster than 45MPH.

i read through each season's thread after i watched that season and saw some of those criticisms, and it did seem to fall off a bit but i still really enjoyed it

i thought it picked back up though

the one thing 'bad' that stood out from binge watching it was you really notice how much Jacks always says "jesus christ" or gemma always says some condescending shit in her low tone of voice

overall still really enjoy the show though

have you watched Justified? It's FX's spring drama. There have only been three seasons so you could catch up quickly if they are on Netflix. I actually enjoy it much more. Season 2 is probably one of the best seasons of TV period.


i'm getting a little tired of Gemma. i know she's Kurt Sutter's wife but I say that's one character you could kill off, get the emotional response, and improve the show all in one fell swoop.

Sounds like they'll have some DNA evidence from the skin under her nails. In the previews for next week's show I thought the sheriff said they were tied to the club, but I might be remembering incorrectly.

^i haven't seen last night's episode so i'm not sure it it changed anything, but it was made clear very early on the home invaders were the 3 Nomad members the club brought in during the season premiere.

The first clue was the fake leg worn by one of the invaders when Uncer was attacked. The second clue was in a few episodes later when the three were shown throwing Clay's recently stolen safe into a dumpster after pulling some important documents.

i do remember them immediately following up that scene with a scene near a prosthetic limb hospital/facility but i dont remember what took place there
