I just got a new motherboard and proc and was working on putting them into the computer.

I applied the thermal grease and seated the processor. Installed the fan and then hooked up all the cables and inserted all the cards. However, now, the computer won't power on.

Any ideas as to what might be going on here?

^^You know PoE is DC, not AC, right? I'm also not aware of a 24v PoE standard (though the "technology" exists), unlike 802.11af and 802.11at.

Sure, its DC and not AC, but its not far fetched to use a power stripe off an inverter from 120v AC to whatever voltage DC to power multiple POE devices...
