I liked how, on the last episode they had federal agents escorting soccer moms off the rooftops of neighboring parking decks so they wouldn't see Michael from 500 ft away. Then 30 minutes later he's in plain sight of a busy street with hundreds of cars driving by standing 10 feet next to a flaming car while yelling at the top of his lungs at HRG.

I think this will be the best season....really enjoying how "the old mike" is coming out a little.

I wasn't aware that season 7 is the last one...

Anyway, I think it's different, but yeah, at season 4, it started to change direction and I lost desire to hold on to it... but I've been watching it anyway.

Season 5 was ok, season 6 was ok too... I guess I just liked the format just the way it was and there was no real reason to evolve it into something else.

It'll be nice to see what the fallout is from everything. His one desire was to get back into the CIA and once he had the chance he saw how much he would lose. Now he's seeing what he has lost so you have wonder if he'll stay a spy or become a civilian.


I am kinda hoping to see him as the devil again. That was one of the better episodes.

I have to say it...

It fell apart after season 3 and they took so many bad choices after that.

They could have explored Fiona's Burn Notice from the IRA, or did more with Sam Axe's Discharge and the aftermath of that.

Instead of Michael narrating every episode, they could have done things from Sam or Fiona's point of view. Or explored how Michael Weston handled certain problems.

Maybe they wanted to keep it light, but I think they had something substantial they could have done more with, and instead used every episode to heighten a tension that could not possibly heightened any further.

That was sad Maddie died. Really good final episode though. I liked the way they tied it all together at the end with what he should tell his nephew. I also liked that Sam and Jessie are still going to help people.
