looking a grill cover that will protect my grill. NOT dry rot and ruin my grill.

Here is mine in the background of this picture. Got it at Lowe's for like $30 I think. I have had it for over 2 years and it does a great job.

The grill covers that are brand name and sold at Home Depot are crap. They are $40 and I have to replace mine every year. They fade in the sun to gray, and then they start tearing on any edge the grill has.

I have the same NCSU cover, as pictured. It is a pretty good one.

^^ how long have you had yours? My Weber cover is 2.5 years old now and is graying a lot and the outer shell is starting to crack a little. Probably going to have to replace it next year. Mine does get a lot of afternoon sun exposure though (northwest facing deck with zero shade).

^^ I like it because it's lined with fabric, which keeps it from tearing. It has faded a bit, but that's to be expected.

Our weber cover still looks new after a year, but the grill only gets about 2-3 hours of morning sun

Yeah, my grill is in the sun pretty much all day during the spring/summer months.

I have an NCSU cover from a sports memorabilia shop in Blowing Rock that has lasted 7 years and still looks almost like new.

IIRC, the guy sells them in the Kerr Scott building at the fair.

buy a grill worth a shit (made out of stainless steel) and you don't need a cover. covering any other grill is a waste as the internals will rust out long before the exposed exterior anyway.
