Man, I hope I'm wrong in this case but I feel like this is just the type of game in which duke teams typically excel. Noon tip-off against a top 25 team, no drama, double digit victory, leaving nothing more than a 30 second espn tv spot featuring a final score and 5 highlights of someone named plumlee and another dude hitting threes...business as usual.

Ryan Kelly being out makes me like our chances a lot more. Just hope Howell or CJ don't get into foul trouble on touch fouls.

All they do is put 4 players on the 3 point line and Plumlee will play 1 on 1 inside.

If we can manage to stay out of foul trouble, then I think we can keep this a close game. If we get into foul trouble, watch the fuck out. Vandy vs Plumlee will be a disaster. Best case scenario for us is that the refs are letting the play be physical and we can let Howell beat up on Plumlee some.

Brown has got to stay focused on defense and he needs to stay with Cook and limit his penetration. Cook is obviously not a good shooter, but he can pass so him pentrating and us helping off Plumlee will be bad. Purvis will need to just chase Curry all over the place and try to deny him the ball as much as possible. We are very fortunate if Kelly cannot play as we'd have no answer for him at all.

Last night I was surprised Vandy did not get in during that last minute, but maybe Gott just felt like it was not worth the injury risk considering how clumsy Vandy is. Ultimately it looks as if Vandy will be used only when absolutely necessary. He was awful during the BC game and has no clue where he needs to be on defense. If we get into fould trouble, we are fucked ala Ok St.

As for Stinger - why are you a Duke and State fan? Don't tell me some lame ass shit like I grew up a Duke fan, but went to State.
